Rescind Oregon SB 1080
Ask Democratic Governor Kitzhaber to revoke the Executive Order of his predecessor and ask Democratic legislators to rescind SB 1080 which denies drivers licenses and identification to undocumented immigrants who must drive to work, school and church. Make the roads safer for licensed drivers and reduce auto insurance rates.

Why is this important?
SB 1080 prevents some 15,000 undocumented immigrant drivers on Oregon roads from being tested for knowledge of driving laws and for physical impairments to safe driving. Denied driver licenses, undocumented immigrants cannot purchase auto insurance, raising the risk of accidents and, therefore, the rates of auto insurance for licensed drivers.
