We are alarmed by the clear cutting of trees, lack of communication by the city officials to the community regarding developments before they happen, and the large number of houses being built. We want the priority for our city to be preserving our natural environment and having responsible, controlled development.
Why is this important?
We want transparent communication about current policies and provisions. We want our elected officials to reflect the priorities of the citizens they represent. Developments seem to be happening without any forethought for the overcrowding of schools, the destruction of our natural environment and the traffic issues that will ensue.
