We petition the Congress, President and the federal administration to:
(1) Review the terms, conditions, and obligations of every treaty made between the United States and any Indian nation and to adhere to these terms one hundred percent;
(2) To restore, to the extent possible, all lands belonging to Indian Nations or individual Native Americans undeer the terms of those treaties;
(3) To fund at 100 percent all federal programs contracted by Indian Nations under public law 93-638
Why is this important?
The petition advocates 100 percent fulfillment of the terms of all the treaties the US signed with Indian nations, full funding of federal programs contracted by Indian tribes, and a return, as far as possible of treaty lands that were taken under the Dawes Act and by other legerdemain.
