Restore Adult Medicaid Program in NJ

Restore cuts in funding for the adult Medicaid program in NJ so that parents and caretakers can still be covered by NJ Family Care.

Why is this important?

Gov. Christie cut all state funding for health care as of March 2010 in NJ and only left what was funded by the Federal government, which means now only children are covered by NJ Family Care, no more parents. The only exception to this is people who are disabled or over 65. So many people are out of work in NJ and have no more health insurance from their jobs and cannot afford to buy private health insurance. I was told that the adults currently on NJ Family Care will be denied coverage when the time comes for them to renew.
