Restore grants that improve vaccination rates!

In the middle of a measles outbreak that’s already infected 250+ people and claimed the life of an unvaccinated child, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is cutting over 40 grants that focus on understanding why people aren't getting vaccinated and improving vaccination rates.

This reckless move has pulled millions in funding from research that helps protect our communities and young children, educate families, and fight deadly misinformation.

Why is this important?

The latest grants canceled by NIH represent millions of dollars in lost funding for projects aimed at improving vaccine access and educating communities. This research is essential to ensuring families have the tools and resources they need to make informed health decisions, especially during outbreaks like the one we're seeing now.

Vaccine hesitancy is a growing threat that undermines efforts to control preventable diseases and protect the most vulnerable among us, including young children, immunocompromised people, and older folks.

These grants save lives. Ending them now, while we’re witnessing a resurgence in a disease that was previously eradicated thanks to vaccines, is dangerous and puts us all at risk.

Sign the petition to demand NIH restore these grants and invest in the health and safety of all Americans.
