Restore Lucia's Original Outfit Design in ZZZ
.jpeg)
To the Esteemed Developers at Hoyoverse,
We, the undersigned players and supporters of Zenless Zone Zero, wish to respectfully express our concerns regarding the recent redesign of the playable character, Lucia.
Lucia’s original design, as featured prominently in the game’s last event and in official drip marketing, was one that many of us grew to love and eagerly anticipated. It was not only a key part of our excitement for her release, but also a design that many players were looking forward to purchasing and supporting.
The sudden change to her appearance has left many of us feeling blindsided. This adjustment was not something the global community asked for, and it has created disappointment among fans worldwide. Even within the Chinese community, there is visible division over the redesign, which underscores the depth of attachment players had to her original look. We currently have a drought in the game for the design styles employed in the original Lucia design, as well as body type. As many of us have expressed disappointment in Yixuan, Yidhari, and Lucia all being too similar in outfit and body.
Many of us are developers ourselves, and we understand the lengths of craftsmanship it takes to produce such a high quality character design. All of that extra work to win over fans that were not sold on her original design could feel lost if reverted to her original drip-marketed design at this point in the game. We fully respect the creative vision of Hoyoverse and the immense effort that goes into developing a game of this scale. However, rather than change this character from what she was originally intended to be, we kindly ask that you consider the following:

However, rather than change this character from what she was originally intended to be, we kindly ask that you consider the following:
- Reinstate Lucia’s original design as her default appearance, honoring the version that was marketed and celebrated by the community.
- At the very least, provide the original design as an optional swappable skin in-game, so that players who cherished her initial look can continue to enjoy it.
This compromise would allow Hoyoverse to maintain its creative direction while also respecting the loyalty and enthusiasm of its player base. We remain deeply appreciative of the artistry, dedication, and innovation that Hoyoverse brings to its games. Our request comes from a place of admiration and passion for Zenless Zone Zero, and we hope it will be received in the spirit of constructive feedback and community engagement.
With respect and gratitude,
