Dear Congressmen and Senators of the U.S.
We wish that you pass a bill restoring the rights of those who have served their time as felons. If their debt to society has been paid, they should be restored as full citizens.
Why is this important?
I know many felons who have paid their debt to society by serving their sentences. The way it stands now, they are denied their full citizenship voting rights. I believe that this is a great injustice to democracy.
