Restore Voting Rights

The voting rights of ex-felons are permanently revoked in Kentucky although the felon has paid his/her debt to society. This law further impacts already disenfranchised voting groups such as minorites and the poor.
Kentucky must work to restore voting rights by rescinding this voter suppression law.

Why is this important?

In Kentucky, ex-felons who have paid their debt to society are permanently denied the right to vote. This law is an extentsion of the old discriminatory Jim Crow Laws because it impacts already disenfranchised citizens such as minorities and the poor. We must end voter suppression in Kentucky.
