Restore Voting Rights To Six Million Americans!
There are six million American citizens who cannot vote. They committed a crime, they served their time, they "paid their debt to society," but yet are denied the basic privileges of citizenship.
In America, the land of second chances, we have to decide whether people who have made mistakes must carry those mistakes forever, or be granted full citizenship and the voting rights that go with it.
It's time to federally RESTORE THE VOTING RIGHTS of nonviolent felons!
Sen. Rand Paul and Sen. Cory Booker teamed up to present a bipartisan bill called "REDEEM ACT" which among several initiatives calls for the restoration of voting rights for non-violent drug felons. This bill must be passed.
Call on your senators to co-sign REDEEM ACT.

Why is this important?
As host of The Karen Hunter Show on SiriusXM, we crusaded successfully for the removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina statehouse. It is our mission to fight for the rights of Americans and hold this country to its promise. After interviewing Kemba Smith, we were compelled to take up the fight to restore voting rights to nonviolent felons. Smith, who could not vote in her state of Virginia after being pardoned by Pres. Bill Clinton, had to move to another state to vote. From state to state there are different rules. There are even a couple of states where PRISONERS can vote. There should be uniformity. At the very least, there should be a standard that says if a person serves their time, all of their rights of citizenship should be restored.
