The 2014 amendment to the voting rights bill needs passage to restore the rights of American citizens who may not be able to present the identification required by the recent bill, which gutted the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
Therefore, we petition Rep. Frelinghuysen to restore the ability of all American citizens to vote.
Why is this important?
I am appalled by the efforts of the right wing of Congress to deny citizens the right to vote if they do not have a drivers license or passport. Many older citizens do not have these documents.
