Why is this important?
The Voting Rights Act is one of the most important acts that Congress had passed. Last year, Supreme Court gutted it. Right now, Congress can restore it. Rep. DesJarlais should support a bill by Sensenbrenner and Conyers to restore the Voting Rights Act.
