Restore the Senate's rules on filibusters that requires the Senator who is engaged in the filibuster to stand on the floor and speak the entire time. End this ridiculous practice of announcing you want to filibuster and then NOT BEING REQUIRED TO EVEN BE PRESENT!!
Why is this important?
I am tired of the Senate not requiring the filibuster senator to do anything but call for a filibuster. I believe this has been interfering with the fow of business. I favor the original rules for filibuster that requires something of the person calling for a filibuster.
