Restrict Motorcycle Noise Careless Operators
Enact strict standards of motorcycle operation within city limits with special regard to speed and noise.
Why is this important?
Motorcycles are becoming more numerous and hence more noisy. Motorcycles operate in residential areas without any concern for the noise that emanates behind and around them. It is a problem of the operator. It is a problem of the human tendency to regard these machines as toys to do with what they will, no-matter if the way they operate the machine encroaches upon the living quality of those who must listen to the raging noise as they speed on their way. Noise is regarded as a health issue: as something that detiorates health and is now beginning to be investigated for subtle and insidious damage to our physiology.
