Strengthen FEMA by providing military personnel with opportunity beyond military service, while providing more extensive response and recovery to the nation when disaster strikes.
Why is this important?
Could we as a nation respond to national emergencies better and more effectively while simultaneously cutting our military budget and providing great opportunities for our military personnel who would otherwise be forced to look for jobs in the private sector?
I am looking to see a restructuring of FEMA so that the response to national emergencies is stronger and more diversified by enlisting outgoing military personal and their training to better respond to our nations needs.
This could provide job opportunities to our veterans, and assist in rebuilding our nation when disasters strike.
