Chaplain Blay was suffering from undiagnosed Dementia. This evidence was not available during his Board of Inquiry, but should be considered now.
Why is this important?
Chaplain (MAJ) Joseph Blay was found guilty of several charges and is being processed for elimination from the U S Army. He was later diagnosed with Dementia or early onset Alzhiemers which was not known during his Board of Inquiry. I don't think he should be released without benefits; instead he should be Retired with full benefits.
