We want to retire the #4 jersey for Joel Wincowski for all the great accomplishments he achieved as an athlete and for the Lake George School District.
Why is this important?
Simple... no athlete has come through our school district and achieved so much;
#5 all time in scoring, 2615 pts. in New York State for any Section.
#1 all time scoring leader 2615 pts. in Section II (breaking Jimmer Fredette's record 2404pts.)
2 time NYSPHSAA State Tournament MVP
2 time NYS Sportswriters Assocation's Class C Player of the Year - 2013,2015
He helped bring home 2 Class C State Championships in three years to Lake George, OF WHICH are the first state basketball championships for the school.
