Return Local Power to Schools
State leaders need to more fully fund public schools, and STOP spending money on faulty testing and premature evaluation systems.
Why is this important?
The biggest problems facing public school students are the underfunded mandates of government agencies,big business profiteering, ill-guided commissions, and politicians all looking to line their pockets and build their resume's. Parents, school children, educators and local school boards know better how to prepare and support their local kids, and it's not with endless testing and cheap, disrespected teachers. Return their power of self governance and funding. Stop selling their futures to publishing giants, data-miners and "charter schools".
