Chin's Place is facing >$20K in costs to repair Akron City Sewers running from their business under Market Street. This is a ridiculous and unfair burden for a small business to shoulder. As a local taxpayer and voter, I find this totally unacceptable and implore the Mayor's office to find a way to decrease this cost and keep this important local asset in business.
Why is this important?
I am a property owner, voter and taxpayer who tries to support local businesses. I see first hand how hard Elaine works and want to support her business. I find it unethical to expect the business to shoulder the City's responsibilities.
