Revising War Powers Act
Under current War Powers Act, politicians find very creative ways to keep their OWN families safely at home, while sending American working families children to war, during invasions: i.e.: George Walker Bush kept Jenna and her sistersafely at home, while sending America's daughters off, to fight HIS battles.
I just wonder how fast Washington D.C. would rush to declare WAR, and invade other nations, if their OWN family members were to be required to enlist, and to be assigned to front-line, combat, units, involved in the first wave of attacks?
I wonder how fast Mr. Bush would have been, to demand his invasions, if HIS daughters would have been required to service, in combat?
I wonder if any politician would rush to WAR, as the Republicans did, if the cost, of this vote, would be that politicans own families would have to live with the same "terror" of that dreaded D.O.D. Death Notice: We regret to inform you of the death of...
Would even Democrats rush to invade other nations, if they knew their decision might cost the lives of ALL members, of their own families, who have reached enlistment age?
This is why I am suggesting a revision of the War Powers Act.

Why is this important?
It is my belief that politicians, such as George Walker Bush, among others, have, over the past decade, RACED to rush America into wars which have done nothing more than fill coffins, in Arlington Cemetary.
Would they have rushed to WAR if their own families were required to serve in the battles?
