Mr. President and members of Congress, please revoke the recent pay raise granted to Congress and freeze (or even reduce) Congressional pay until the members can rise above party politics, work together, and get our Nation back where it should be.
Why is this important?
What have they/you done to merit a raise? How many times has the regular employee heard: "We didn't make enough profit" or "Times are tough." or "We don't have the budget.". I've heard it in about a third of the 25 years I've been working. Time for Congress to hear it too!!
