Revoke the NCAA's tax exempt status
The NCAA behaves like a profit making business not a nonprofit concerned about young peoples' education and participation in sports. A slap on the wrist for Penn State and the Sandusky cover up, universities covering up athletes committing violent crimes, academic cheating and accepting cash and gifts, lack of safety in football head and other injuries, large percent of student athletes on scholarships not graduating, these issues do not sound like a non profit organization interested in helping athletic college students become responsible citizens. A review of the NCAA's Tax Exempt Status is needed as they are acting like a for profit entity.
Why is this important?
The NCAA behaves like a profit making business not a nonprofit concerned about young peoples' education and participation in sports.
