To: Governor Ron DeSantis

Rick Scott, repeat after me: "climate change"

Please hold a press conference and clearly state your views on climate change. "I’m not a scientist" or "I'm not an expert" won't cut it now that you've seen the evidence. I want to see solutions proposed by your office.

Why is this important?

Governor Rick Scott has previously dodged climate change by stating that he is "not a scientist." And when he unveiled his transparent "Let’s Keep Florida Beautiful" campaign, there was one glaring omission: the phrase "climate change."

It's not Beetlejuice; it's not Voldemort. What would appear if he said "climate change" three times? Common sense?

Gov. Scott has now had a meeting with climate scientists where evidence and solutions were presented -- he no longer has any excuse. Get the governor to stop dodging and announce his administration's plan to combat climate change.
