Recently in New York State that law has been re-enforced with the exception of Political robo calling allowing automated ads to call your home phone and automatically leave messages. This has been a problem every year and will be more so this year because of the Presidential election coming up in November..
Why is this important?
In New York State and several states for that matter, "Do No Call"
has been a hot button issue. They've made an exception to this law stating politicians can Robo call your home. They are claiming this is OK because it's "Freedom Of Speech"!
