We have signed this petition to declare that we support the Rockford Area Realtors pursuit of termination of the Paragon 5 contract. We want to return to the old MLS, move to MRED or seek a better solution to enhance our business which we feel is significantly handicapped by Paragon 5.
Why is this important?
In December of 2012 the Rockford Area Realtors began use of an archaic MLS called Paragon 5. This was not the best product available in the market place. We are being forced to move backward while the advent of public facing websites and apps trump our own abilities with our MLS. Essentially the use of the Paragon MLS has handicapped Rockford Realtor members from the general public’s own access to information. If we do not have better, easier and faster access to home information than the public we are in serious trouble.
