Please support a 5% sales tax on political advertising. The revenue would be split 3 ways, between k-12 education, economic development through small businesses, and human services.
Why is this important?
Big money has taken over politics to an even greater degree and the people have very little chance of changing that. We can, however, gain some needed resources to support education, economic development, and human services.
