Grant same sex couples the right to marry. Allow same sex married couples the same legal rights as heterosexual married couples.
Why is this important?
Several of my friends are homosexual and have been together for several years. They would love to get married and have children but, the state of Illinois has not yet approved this. They deserve the right to be married and are entitled to the legal rights that go along with that. This should be a priority for our state, to grant it's same sex citizens marriage rights.
