Save Buck Island, VI

We the undersigned petition the National Park Service to produce up with an alternate plan or maintain the current plan that protects the rights of the people to enjoy Buck Island National Monument as it has been enjoyed by the visitors to the park since it was created. We ask that the NPS allow anchoring in wet sand by boats, allow snorkeling, kite surfing, paddle boarding, kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, and other man powered water vehicles within the Monument boundaries.

Why is this important?

The National Park Service is trying to put a General Management Plan in place for Buck Island in the Virgin Islands, that will take away the rights of Park visitors to enjoy the park as it was intended at it's creation. There will be no man powered watercraft, no snorkeling, and no anchoring. Help STOP big government from taking away the people's right to enjoy this National Park.
