The Trump administration is attempting to convert National Monuments and public lands into corporate moneymakers, thereby destroying their beauty and importance for future generations. Declare any attempt at removing their protection will be met with converting them to State Parks and monuments.
Why is this important?
I am a Sierra Club member who sees that this reclassification of National Monuments and public lands will do irreparable harm to our state, both now and in the future. As someone who spends most of my vacations in these locations, I am alarmed at the possibility that they will be destroyed by corporate development.
