Sign the Petition to Save Cape Wind
Marcy ("Mary") Reed, President of National Grid in Massachusetts, has the power to save Cape Wind! We know she's been a long-time supporter of offshore wind power, and we're calling on her to be a hero by reinstating National Grid's contract to buy 50% of the power from Cape Wind.
We also call on the honorable Governor Charlie Baker and all our state legislators to make this happen NOW for the sake of our children and all the other things we hold near and dear.
Why is this important?
I want to support the heroic efforts of Cape Wind's President Jim Gordon to combat runaway Climate Change. This project has been delayed for 14 years by huge amounts of fossil fuel money and 26 frivolous lawsuits trying to run out the clock. National Grid must honor its commitment so this can move forward.
