Save Congress from Political Cults

Responsible governance requires lawmakers to make independent decisions to preserve and protect the nation. The Political Cult Followers of zealot Grover Norquist promised to NEVER investigate or negotiate Best Outcomes for the country, EVEN during Wartime and Economic Strife. That kind of rigid, ideological allegiance to someone telling them how to vote is dangerous. Elected lawmakers have a duty to pay the bills our country promised to pay. They also have a mandate from voters to WORK TOGETHER. Rational lawmakers simply don't sign binding pledges that block negotiation on important national issues. Lawmakers who want to remain in office must disavow membership in the Grover Norquist Political Cult immediately.
