SAVE DRAMA IN SEBASTOPOL UNIFIED SCHOOLS

WE THE UNDERSIGNED PARENTS, STUDENTS AND COMMUNITY OF SEBASTOPOL UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT (SUD) WISH THE SUPERINTENDENT AND SCHOOL BOARD TO RECONSIDER IT’S CURRENT PLAN TO END OUR DRAMA PROGRAM BY REASSIGNING TEACHER SHARI CONRADSON TO ANOTHER CLASS.

PLEASE WORK WITH MS. CONRADSON AND INTERESTED COMMUNITY MEMBERS TO MAINTAIN THE SUD DRAMA PROGRAM IN FULL, OR AS CLOSE TO ITS CURRENT FORMAT AS POSSIBLE.

Why is this important?

DRAMA IS A VALUABLE PART OF OUR CHILDREN’S EDUCATION, PROVIDING ACADEMIC AND SOCIAL BENEFITS WE SEE AS IMPORTANT TO OUR SCHOOL AND TO OUR CHILDREN SUCCEEDING IN LIFE.

IT IS ONE OUT OF CLASS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM THAT REACHES ELEMENTARY AND MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS IN OUR DISTRICT, AND IS A UNIQUE PROGRAM IN WEST SONOMA COUNTY SCHOOLS THAT WE SEE AS AN ASSET TOO VALUABLE TO LOOSE.
