We the people demand a plan to preserve and protect Florida's fresh water aquifer. There must be stricter limits on the amount of water removed by municipalities, corporations, and agriculture operations. Without conservation of our water, we jeopardize the future of Florida's ecosystem and economy of agriculture and ecotourism.
Why is this important?
Florida's aquifer is being drained at an alarming rate that is unsustainable in the long term. We must act now to protect the supply of fresh water that is vital not only to Florida's ecosystem but also the economy.
