Save Henry Hall

Do not close Henry Halls doors to Hiram students that wish to live there next semester.

Why is this important?

I just graduated Hiram last year in 2012. Like many of you I admire the strong sense of friendship and welcoming community found in Henry Hall. It is the kind of sanctuary that I hope will be available for future generations to come as it was available to the generations that came before ours.

Let it be known that we do not want Henry Hall closed.

Other options should be discussed between Hiram students and faculty to include options that would see the dorm remaining open for future generations of Terriers to enjoy. The fiscal situation of Hiram College is of much importance but so is the cultural and social identity that has existed for decades and across generations of students, faculty, and alumni. Shuttering Henry would not only be closing doors on a dorm but closing the doors on a vibrant, unique aspect of Hiram's history and legacy.
