Save Hero Way from Heavy Commercial Zoning
Developer Noel Larson (Fab-Con Products) and his representative, Ryan Betz (Betz Company), are proposing that several parcels on Hero Way in Leander, Texas, be re-zoned from Single Family Rural to Heavy Commercial.
Why is this important?
This petition was created by a group of concerned landowners and residents who live near or on Hero Way in Leander, Texas. Our purpose is to raise awareness regarding this extremely concerning issue. This change in zoning is a gateway to establishing the area as an industrial sector and only through a collaborative effort and positive action can it halted.
Heavy Commercial zoning conforming use can include:
• Contractor and building material storage
• Manufacture, assembly or processing of materials
• Warehouse and distribution
• Research, testing & development laboratory

• Vehicle/major equipment sales, body shop
• Wrecker impoundment
