Save Mr. Kulencavich!
Mr. Kulencavich has been working for LAUSD for 9 years. He is overqualified for the position that he holds. He has special credentials that allow him to teach advanced 6th grade students 7th grade math. He is able to engage students in a subject that is generally the most dreaded subject in school. He is also the only teacher with these credentials at Dodson Middle School, so if you remove him from his position, you would essentially wipe out this program for 6th graders. In addition, he is an amazing mentor to all of his students. If you remove him from teaching, you will take away a great leader, an amazing mentor, and exceptional teacher from the students of Dodson Middle School.
Why is this important?
We would like to have Mr. Kulencavich's pink slip retracted. He's a valueable asset to society and he is an amazing teacher. He holds a valueable credentails that allow him to teach advanced 6ht graders 7th grade math. He is able to engage students in the subject that is generally the most dreaded subject in school. If he were to be layed off, the program would be essentailly wiped out for the 6th grade class. In addition, he is an amazing mentor to all of his students.
