There’s talk of CBS canceling Murphy Brown way too soon. The resistance needs shows like this to make us laugh, cry, and, one that helps amplify our voices
Why is this important?
Murphy Brown is already on the verge of cancellation by CBS. Murphy Brown is a show representing “We The People” And journalism, including the 1st Amendment.
Her show reboot has spotlighted issues from the past (single mothers/Dan Quayle) to the present (the horrible words and tweets coming from OUR White House in the Trump era.
The show also presses on issues important to a most diverse audience: from LGBTQ, to strong women leaders, charity; and fighting the good fight.
We need her, at least, through 2020, to help the Resistance through its battles by supplying us with laughter, sadness, anger; but most importantly, issues close to our hearts and minds.
