I support a ban on smoking on the beaches in Connecticut due to the butts ending up in the sand our children play in.
Why is this important?
Our beaches are being turned into ashtrays. Cigarette butts, along with other trash and debris are consuming our beaches every summer. Smokers continue to toss butts on to the beaches across New England. It needs to stop. Please support a ban on smoking on our beaches.
