Save our Children, Not our Assault Rifles
Have Colorado be a leader in saving the lives of our youth instead of the metal of assault rifles and guns! We had Columbine, and now Aurora! Please make it impossible to buy these WMD of our youth. A good hunter doesn't need an assault rifle. Please help bring our state back into the limelight for a wonderful reason!
Why is this important?
Reducing the number of assault rifles/guns in Colorado. And making it extremely difficult to purchase such weapons of mass destruction of human life, most often young human life. We must greatly stiffen the the punishment for such horrendous crimes when they do occur and not continue to allow simple pleas of "not guilty by reason of insanity" such that the person is back out on the street as soon as they can convince a psychiatrist they have "recovered". Yes we need much better mental health screening AND treatment, but in the meantime, it is time for this country to get tough on ASSAULT GUNS, which you don't need to be a good hunter!
