It is important for the School District of Philadelphia to receive the appropriate funding in order to effectively run their schools. Secretaries, instructional support staff, art and music programs, and adequate supplies should NOT be compromised. Our students deserve a quality education. Our schools deserve MORE funding.
Why is this important?
The school district's budget for the 2013-2014 school year calls for HUGE cuts to the school staff, activities, programs and services. That means our children's schools won't have any of the things that make a quality education.
