We, the undersigned, are concerned citizens who urge the City of Thousand Oaks to act now to deny Verizon’s current application to install cell transmitters on the hillside above the mentioned Neighborhoods in Dos Vientos. The current proposed cell site will create an ugly silhouette on the hillside which will detract from the aesthetic beauty of our neighborhood. The undersigned are not opposed to the upgrade but request to deny the application based on the proposed view of the site and request to have additional and enforceable input on the aesthetics.
Why is this important?
Verizon Wireless has proposed installing a cell phone transmitter in the vicinity of the scenic hiking trail near the water tank on 4990 Via El Cerro that has a view to Treasures, Harvest Moon, Heritage, Virazon, and Estancia Neighborhoods in Dos Vientos.
