Save Saint Andrew's in NYC
St. Andrew's church is located near City Hall and the headquarters of the NYPD, along with several courthouses. It is currently at risk of being closed.
Why is this important?
St. Andrew is a Roman Catholic parish church in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, located at 20 Cardinal Hayes Place, Manhattan, New York City. It was established in 1842. Above the entrance to the church, an inscription in Latin reads "Beati qvi ambvlant in lege Domini," which means, "Blessed are they who walk in the law of the Lord." It is vital to the community as well as the thousands who visit it regularly. St. Andrew has merged and its parish is currently at risk of being closed.
Today, St Andrew in NYC is located and intertwined with the seat of New York City, State and Federal Government and it needs to remain viable church parish community including its weekday commuter parishioners. Please sign the petition, visit our church and pray for our success.
