Keep Sheltered Workshops for people with developmental disabilities open. We need choices and options for where our children want to work
Why is this important?
My daughter can not work in the community and needs the all day programs that she gets in a sheltered workshop. My daughter attends VARCA a workshop in Derby and has been there for over 20 years and loves it. She would never make it in the community. The President as well as state government is trying to close them saying they are segregated.
