Save the Bees
Immediately ban the sale and use of all chemical pesticides that are known to be highly toxic to Bees, such as Carbary, Carbofuran, Methomy, Methamidophos, Methadathion, Methyl Parathion, Imidacloprid, Thiamethoxam and Clothianidin. Encourage the use of Neem oil which is non-toxic to bees and other beneficial insects. Require the EPA to release all information about the risks pesticides pose to honeybees.
Why is this important?
This week, Oregon officials reported a pesticide is to blame for the deaths of tens of thousands of bumble bees. If we wish to have any bees left at all, drastic cut backs on insecticides will have to be made mandatory. Otherwise we could find our food supply at great risk.
