We need police who can address, on a daily basis, safety and quality of life issues. As Nassau County residents living in or near Elmont, Valley Stream, South Floral Park, North Woodmere, and Inwood, we are very concerned about the impact of eliminating the Public Oriented Policing (POP) Unit of the 5th Precinct.
Why is this important?
The POP Unit investigated crimes such as gang activity, drug related issues and gun violence. This cut will result in more crime in our community. "High Taxes, Less Safety"
