Save Tortilla Flats

The landlord is refusing to renew Tortilla Flats' lease. We have to preserve this institution of New York!

Why is this important?

Tortilla Flats has been a downtown NYC staple for nearly 40 years. This little taste of Tijuana in lower meatpacking district has been a confidante to thousands who have passed through its doors over the past 4 decades. It has brought strangers together during the infamous birthday PBR tall boy chug, added the spice we needed to our midweeks by never failing to host Bingo each and every Tuesday night AND LEST NOT FORGET that they have the best quesadilla grande that the east coast has to offer. (THAT IS FACT AND NOT OPINION.) In a world where we are barricaded by Starbucks and snobby wine bars (who are afraid to admit that they too prefer fermented grapes by tha box), we have to preserve the one place that has held true to themselves...and served as a refuge for us to hold true to our own persons as well.
