Save Wisconsin Science Staff
Eliminating our Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource's science staff is in direct opposition to serving the best interests of your constituents. As hunters, fishermen and women, boaters, and people who use our State Parks and waterways, we are opposed decreasing the DNR's ability to gather data and effectively oversee our natural resources. The only entities that benefit from this move by Gov. Walker are the industries that want to avoid data collection.
Why is this important?
As an outdoorsman, a dad, and an active member of the environmental community, I am tired of watching Governor Walker put the interests of a few ahead of the interests of the many. Wisconsin is a biological gem....I would like for my kids and their kids to think the same.
