Say NO to Drones In St. Louis and St. Louis County
There is a major potential for abuse. Without privacy there is no democracy because democracy is people being able to think, speak and act freely without being watched and recorded at all times. Law enforcement claims that when people are in public there is no expectation of privacy but law enforcement isn't everywhere ALL the time, yet. The NSA has already proven that the government will continue to take our rights away unless we stand up for them. Law-abiding citizens deserve to be able to move and interact without machines monitoring them, storing their movements and tracking their identities at all times. Drones are not citizen friendly and they are not tourist friendly either. No one will want to visit or live in the city in America where flying machines spy on them, record them or can shoot them at any time.
The goal is to protect Americans from extremists. Surely we can preserve the rule of law and provide protection from extremists but also protect citizens and uphold the U.S. constitution at the same time.

Why is this important?
The St. Louis police chief Sam Dotson wants drones for law enforcement. This is a major privacy concern. Electronic remote-controlled machines with high powered cameras and weapons are already in use around the world and along the U.S./Mexico border.
