We, the undersigned, urge our the legislators of the house revenue committee to move forward on House Bill 3371 as a solution to the failed War on Drugs in Oregon. It will save millions in police spending, raise millions in tax revenue, and create a safer state by keeping marijuana out of the hands of minors.
Why is this important?
House Bill 3371 is an extremely well-written cannabis legalization bill, but it is currently sitting in the Revenue committee in the House with no scheduled work sessions or hearings. We need to show our legislators that this is important to the people of Oregon and needs to move forward.
