To the Presidents of US Bank, HSBC, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America: Please end your practice of preventing widows who are behind in their payments getting the loan in their name until they are caught up - which they can't do because your banks won't accept payments from them because the loan is not in their name. Please work with widows trying to make payments and keep those widows in their homes.

The Paycheck Protection Program is a $660 billion fund approved by Congress that was intended to help small businesses during the coronavirus crisis. But too many small businesses didn’t get the money they desperately needed to survive this economic crisis. Instead, it's Donald Trump’s associates, donors, and firms working for him who got millions of dollars, along with other big corporations. The United States Treasury Department, whose job it is to properly administer the Paycheck Protection Program, must ensure that these companies are required to pay back all of the money that they received.

Senate Republicans must publicly disclose which of their donors, lobbyists, and allies received funds from the Paycheck Protection Program. While our country faced an economic depression resulting from the coronavirus crisis, with small businesses struggling to survive and millions of Americans out of work, Republican donors and lobbyists made off with millions and millions of dollars. And now, those same Senate Republicans are getting in the way of legislation that could provide essential relief to those who need it the most, like the HEROES Act that was passed by the House of Representatives nearly two months ago. We will no longer allow our political representatives to funnel money to their cronies while we go without. We demand accountability.

Congress must step in and investigate how Donald Trump’s loyalty to corporate CEOs over working families is putting lives at risk during the coronavirus outbreak.

Ensure the Kushner family companies immediately return the millions of dollars they received from the government in PPP funds intended for small business owners.

Congress must stop playing political games. Millions of people are still suffering due to COVID-related challenges, and need support immediately. We can’t just go back to the way things were before the pandemic. Both the Senate and House must move to immediately pass the American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan, which together would revitalize our economy and provide much-needed relief to Americans.

In spite of being met by state violence, threats and intimidation the people of Pakistan are strong in their resolve and have clearly sent a message that they will not stop till their demands are met. We urge you to stand tall with and support the peaceful protestors who are within their fundamental rights to ask for a free and fair election. Please show your support for a peaceful and democratic Pakistan. A Pakistan where all citizens are treated equally under law and a Pakistan that can be a beacon of hope and peace for all. People in Pakistan are standing up for their fundamental rights – free and fair election. We should be inspired by their brave efforts for liberty and freedom and not support a fraudulent regime that has occupied the office by fraudulent means. So far the U.S. government has been wishy-washy in its support for the Pakistani people. It's time for our government to give meaning to the very values of freedom and equality that our country was formed on. As John F. Kennedy said, “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.” I pray and urge you to use your good office to stop that from happening.
