  • President Obama: This time support a UN 5th World Conference on Women (5WCW)!
    The UN Secretary General and the President of the General Assembly in a Joint Statement (3/8/12) asked for a resolution from General Assembly to have a Global Conference on Women, the first since Beijing, 1995. It had some strong support until the USA and the EU were against it. It is time now, to take this up again. Once passed, 5WCW would likely be held in 2017.

    Asking for denial of early parole for Dr. William Lewek who was convicted of hiding the body of Matthew J. Straton in a shallow grave in his backyard for 2 1/2 months. Lewek was convicted of tampering with evidence, which in New York state is a 1 1/3 - 4 year sentence. After not even 12 months, Dr. Lewek is already up for parole.

    Parole and end the excessively long sentence of Steven Louis HIrata who merely suffered a relapse into addiction after years in 12 Step helping others - he now languishes under cruel and unusal 3rd Strike 41 years to Life sentence! The punishment does not fit the crime nor take into account the Recovery and Attempted Rehablitation of his life circumstances.
